Saint Therese: Apostle of Love

March 5 – 7, 2021

“Our Father knows precisely what it is that we need, when it is we needed it,
and that He wants to lavish you his love and pour out his mercy upon us.
That’s the insight that we gain from the life of St. Therese.”
Bishop James Wall

Is your heart full? That is, full of the Father’s love and mercy? In this year of St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus, let us run to the Father’s unconditional love! Through the life of Saint Therese of Lisieux, Bishop Wall and Sister Mary Joanne, O.C.D. gives us deep insight into the profound love and mercy of our heavenly Father from her personal experiences with her own human father, Saint Louis Martin. Saint Therese teaches us that we can allow our very human experiences to lead us to love God, ourselves and others more fully!

Reviews of Bishop James Wall’s Virtual Retreat

“Bishop Wall’s talks were excellent (as we fully expected).”
“I enjoyed the retreat master’s talks. I like hearing about the saints and virtues which we all can practice. His talks worked in conjunction with each other, and I got a lot out of them. They also dovetailed into the prayers provided by the sisters, such as the rosary. It all coordinated especially well for this retreat.”
“I truly enjoy the opportunity to have a meeting with the Sisters and fellow retreatants it inspires and enlightens me! Also, the musical meditations, the stations of the Cross, the Rosary, the night prayer, EVERYTHING!!”
