Virtual Retreat

Mar 26 2021 - Apr 18 2021

“All I want, is to know Christ and to experience the power of his resurrection,
to share in his sufferings and become like him in his death, in the hope that I myself
will be raised from death to life.”
     Philippians 3:10

Our own Sr Regina Marie, O.C.D. guides us into Holy Week by taking a closer look at Jesus’ interior peace, even as He carried His cross and was crucified. We invite you to ready yourself for Holy Week with this insightful weekend retreat looking at the Passion of Christ with a lens of peace and hope. Spend some time in communion with God, the Carmelite Sisters, and fellow retreatants as we dive deeper into the wondrous mysteries of God’s love.

Video Conferences with Sister Regina Marie, O.C.D.
Access to all the retreat content, including the conferences, will be available until April 25, 2021.

Conference Themes (click to open)

Conference 1 | Given (The Last Supper): Surrounded by His chosen friends, Jesus invites us to the intimacy of the table of His Last Supper.

Conference 2 | Surrendered (The Agony in the Garden): Fully knowing what He was doing, Jesus entered into the depths of our fear, agony, and struggle,  taking the brunt of our fallen human reality. It is through Jesus’ complete trust in the Father, that Our Savior opens the way for us.

Conference 3 | Pierced (The Crucifixion): When Jesus hung silently in death, the soldier’s thrust of the lance opened His heart, manifesting what His executioners never intended: Even in death, Jesus continues to give new life, fresh hope and new beginning.

Conference 4 | Stillness (The Burial):  As Jesus  freely embraced His passion and surrendered Himself into the hands of the Father, He becomes a song of obedience and The Source of Life in the tomb. As we surrender in trust to the Father, we, too, find our life and  become  a source of life in Him.

Conference 5 | Waiting (Holy Saturday): Accompanying Mary and the disciples of Jesus, we discover how to wait and prepare ourselves to fully receive the gift of peace that Jesus alone can give.

Follow Up Q&A | On April 6th, we will have a chance to regather and revisit the graces we received during the weekend retreat and look onward together.
