If we’re honest with ourselves, we can lose our peace multiple times a day.  It’s not IF, but WHEN.  Father Jacques Philippe teaches us how to navigate life when things don’t go our way.  It’s not about keeping a stoic expression amidst adversity, but a deep knowing in our hearts that amidst the crashing waves, the gaze of Jesus remains steadily upon us.

Deepen the joy, peace and hope that God’s resurrection can offer you. Father Jacques Philippe’s Searching For and Maintaining Peace is the perfect read during this Easter Season. It’s also the perfect chance to read up on his published works before seeing Father Philippe on our Living in God’s Presence Virtual Retreat in May!

In only 118 pages, this profound little treatise on peace of heart guides us to “respond in a Gospel fashion to the upsetting situations we must all confront.” For 4 weeks, the Carmelite Sisters will be guiding you through each section of the treatise. Our weekly Zooms will give us the chance to reflect, discuss new insights, and support each other in our journey towards peace. We will also provide our book study guide written by the Carmelite Sisters!
