3 Day Women’s Retreat

Please prayerfully consider joining us for a time of rest, abiding in Christ, and spiritual nourishment. Our “Classic Retreats” are silent women’s retreats led by a Priest and accompanied by the Carmelite Sisters. There are four conferences led by our Priest Retreat Master as well as time for confession, adoration, the rosary, Saturday and Sunday Mass, and periods of silent reflection. The Carmelite Sisters pray especially for our retreatants and provide guided times for lectio divina, a walking rosary, and meditations during adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The entire weekend is set apart to support your interior intimacy with Jesus and to walk away refreshed and renewed in your faith journey.
This retreat begins at 5pm on Friday evening and concludes after 11am mass on Sunday. Non-overnight options for Saturday only or the whole weekend are also available.

Retreat MasterFr. Pier Giorgio became a Discalced Carmelite friar for the Washington Province in 2014. He was solemnly professed in 2020 and ordained a priest in July 2021. He is the managing editor for the Institute of Carmelite Studies Publications. He completed his master’s in sacred theology in 2019 at the Catholic University of America and is currently pursuing a master's degree in comparative literature and translation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. |
Sacred Heart Retreat Heart will be adjusting prices on weekend retreats beginning January of 2024. Due to a high demand of private rooms, we have responded by providing more rooms with either a queen or twin bed option. We have also reduced prices for our double rooms for those who may appreciate sharing a room at a more reduced cost. We are aware of a general increase in the cost of living and have tried to find the balance between being sensitive to the financial needs of others, while striving to maintain the vitality of our mission to continue bringing you closer to the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Payments and Cancellations
If it is not possible to pay in full, a 50% deposit is required to hold your registration. To put down a deposit, choose the “mail a check” option at check out and mail us a check or call us to pay via credit card. We require full payment no later than one week before your retreat.
We also have a limited number of partial scholarships available.
If you must cancel, please note that cancellations made within 24 hours of the retreat start time are non-refundable. Cancellations made 1-7 days before the retreat start date are eligible for a refund of 50% of the reservation price. Finally, cancellations made more than 7 days before the retreat start date are eligible for a 100% refund. Funds are nontransferable
between retreats. God reward you!

Please note that during some retreats there may be photography, filming, audio recording or other means of capturing your image or voice for media or other printed materials (including social media and websites) for the Sacred Heart Retreat House. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
